With general control turned over to W, I have to say that life has been rather peaceful. To be able not to care or worry about other people who shouldn't matter at all is such a great feeling. Who knows, things may go better with him in control. He does have a knack of working out my problems for the brief periods of time I've let him do things his way in the past.
If I've learnt anything in my life, its that I've got very limited control over it. Sure, that sounds like a weird statement, since if I were to say...try to kill myself, I'd probably succeed. But...while I accept coincidence...when coincidences start adding up, that's when things get fishy. The thing is, people are all like programs, a series of routines and protocols. Each is different and possibly unique in their own way, but based on their programming, they'll each react to a situation in their own way. Thus, their response can be manipulated by placing them in suitable situations. These responses should lead to specific outcomes. This is where coincidence comes in. Or should I say, the will of the Almighty? Some people can call it fate or destiny. Heh. Like me being in the uni right now. There have been coincidences all the way back from primary school. First, there's me getting dragged into the GEP. Why? Well, if I didn't, I've have been screwed by the primary 4 streaming and thanks to my chinese failing grade, who knows where I'd have ended up. The GEP also ensured that I got decent teachers at decent schools, like Rosyth and ACS(I), which, with my grades, I wouldn't have gotten into anyway. Then, there's me somehow being able to remain in the GEP in spite of my near failing grades all through to sec 4. If that's not enough, I've been taken to the principal's office in both schools(And for something bad, I assure you of that) and had my parents called up by the teachers so often that every teacher who taught me back then became quite familiar with them. Also, as far as exams were concerned, I was always near the bottom of the class, if not the bottom, in every single subject. Then come the major exams and somehow, I do well enough to make it to the next level. That goes for the miracle passes I got in chinese too. All that certainly wasn't in my control, because as far as I remember, I was still slacking off when the exams came around. The best is still the tale of how I got into the uni. There was a tiny...one or two year window where SATS was part of the uni admission criteria. That window opened just in time for me to be able to use my SATS results(and chinese B, which also came around just in time) and tada! I'm in the uni now. The roots for the creation of W can be traced back in such a manner as well. Am I in control? Heh...I think not.
